We are the Hogg family   -   JAMES HOGG (b. 1767-1775 in SC, d. 1840s in Newberry CO, SC) married ELIZABETH LONGSHORE (b.1760-1770) in the 1800s in Newberry CO, SC.   They had five children: LEWIS (b. 1800 in SC, d. 1866 in Marion CO, GA), EUCLIDUS (b. 4/27/1809 in SC, d. 3/17/1855 in Talbot CO, GA),   SAMUEL (b. 1811 in Edgefield Dist. SC, d. 1851 inTalbot CO, GA),   SALLY/SARAH (b. 1805 in SC, d. 5/07/1883 in Van Zandt CO, TX), and   POLLY/MARY (b. 1807 in SC).  We have now traced over 3000 family members descending from James & Elizabeth.
